Write it, pray for it and believe in it

Dear bunnies,

I want to tell you something simple tonight. My heart is on fire as I write this, so let it be on fire in you too.

Write it down, pray for it, and believe in it.

Whatever it is you are hoping for, whatever it is you have been carrying quietly, write it down. Then believe God for it.

There is a verse that I love, saying whatever you ask the Father in His name, He will give it to you. That is John 16:23. Not maybe. Not if you ask just right. He will give it to you. So let go of whispering your prayers like you are asking too much. You are not.

I know how easy it is to keep your dreams small. Small dreams hurt less when they do not come true. But that is not the kind of faith we are called to have. We are called to ask boldly, and that boldness starts with writing it down where you cannot take it back.

So take a pen. Write down who you want to become. Not just what you want to have, but who you want to be while you have it. Write down the kind of heart you want. Patient. Brave. Generous, ready to share even when your own hands feel full or your own season feels tight. Write down why that matters to you.

Write down the life you are hoping for too. Do not leave it blurry. Write the real picture. What your mornings feel like. Who is sitting at your table. What kind of work fills your hands without emptying you out. God is not too busy for the small details of your life. He cares about the parts you think are too little to mention.

Write it. Pray for it. Believe it will happen, that you will receive what you asked for. Then live in it as if you already have it, as if it was already given to you. That is not faking. Faking means pretending something is here when it is not. This is different. This is hoping in the One who already holds your future. You wait with expectation, because it is God who will make it happen, though you have your part to play too. You are not forcing an outcome. You are trusting a Father, and walking it out with Him.

And can I tell you why my heart is so on fire about the writing part? Because when we are the ones writing, we get to write whatever we want. We can write a happy ending. We can write exactly how we want to feel when it happens. There is a freedom in that. Nobody is looking over your shoulder correcting your dream before it even leaves the pen. Write it hopeful. Write it big. You can always improve it later. But first, let yourself write it free.

Then, when the page is full, hand it to God. Ask His Spirit to breathe on every word. You wrote it. You believed it. Now let Him carry it the rest of the way, because it was always His to give.

So write it. Pray it. Believe it. Live like you already have it in your hands, because the One holding your future knows how this ends.

P.S. Life will not always give us the outcome we asked for. Sometimes things happen in a way we did not expect, and that is hard to sit with. But here is what I keep coming back to. As long as we are holding on to the Greater One, the One who is certain in this uncertain world, we are going to be fine. And even when the answer looks different than we hoped, there is always something better waiting to hope for.

And even then, the writing was never wasted. Because here is the part I want you to remember. When we write, we are free. Free to write what we want, the way we want it. It is like we are writing our own story, even though God is the greater Writer, the One holding the whole book. Our part in that story still matters to Him. Every little detail you poured into that page, the hope, the ache, the picture you could not stop imagining, He saw it. He cares about the parts you thought were too small to mention. That is how He loves us. So even if the ending looks different than what you wrote, what you wrote still mattered to Him.

May we rest tonight in His love, knowing He is already working on our dream.
